WE NEED YOU NOW MORE THAN EVER!
Mothers and fathers are faced with the stress of how to safely and securely
care for their children while they search for jobs, complete educational
requirements, learn vital life skills, and search for a home of their own.
At COTS, we want to make sure that our kids and families have all options
available to help them break the cycle of homelessness.
 The PNC Foundation is generously supporting our efforts
this summer with a gift of $ 27,000.

A special “incentive” tax credit law has been
enacted by the State of Michigan.
If you are a Michigan resident, your gift to COTS (a homeless shelter) is eligible
for a 50% tax credit limited to a gift of $200 ($100 credit) per year for individuals
and $400 ($200 credit) per year for those filing joint returns.
For an individual that is only an out of pocket expense
of
$317 after the tax deduction.
For a couple filing jointly that is only an out of pocket expense
of
$217 after the tax deduction.
